Terms of Service

Seven Resume is a subscription web application that helps you search for relevant job listings and uses AI to generate tailored resumes and cover letters for those listings. You provide a CV or resume and your job preferences; we retrieve publicly available job listings, score them for relevance, and produce draft documents you can review, edit and use.

Seven Resume does not submit applications for you and does not contact employers on your behalf. Deciding where and when to apply, and what to send, is always up to you. We may add, change or remove features over time.

You must be at least 16 years old to use Seven Resume. By using the service you confirm that you are 16 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these terms. If you use the service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

• You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for keeping your password and sign-in method secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Accounts are for individual use. Do not share your login or let others use your account.
• Tell us promptly at contact@sevenresume.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• You are responsible for any subscription fees incurred through your account.

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have the right to use, or impersonate another person by uploading their resume as your own.
• Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information in documents generated through the service.
• Use the service to harass, defraud, spam or mislead employers or other users.
• Attempt to access another user's data, probe or bypass our security controls, or interfere with row-level access restrictions.
• Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile or resell the service, or use it to build a competing product.
• Use automated tools to overload the service, or circumvent plan limits, rate limits or billing.
• Upload malware, or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe your use breaches these rules or threatens the service or other users.

You keep ownership of everything you upload, including your CV, resume and the details you enter about your job search. We do not claim ownership of your content.

To operate the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, copy, process, extract text from and transmit your content to our service providers (including our hosting, storage, automation and AI providers) solely for the purpose of delivering the features you have requested, such as finding job matches and generating tailored documents. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, subject to short technical retention in backups.

Subject to your payment obligations and these terms, the documents generated for you are yours to use as you see fit. You are responsible for how you use them.

Tailored resumes and cover letters are produced by AI systems. AI output can contain errors, omissions, outdated details or statements that do not accurately reflect your experience. Relevance scores and job matches are estimates, not professional advice.

You must review, verify and edit any AI-generated document before sending it to an employer.

You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of anything you submit in a job application. We are not responsible for consequences arising from unreviewed output.

Seven Resume depends on third-party providers for authentication, database and file storage, email delivery, job listing retrieval, AI generation and payment processing. Job listings themselves originate from third-party job platforms and may be incomplete, outdated or removed without notice.

We do not control these providers and are not responsible for their outages, delays, errors, rate limits, pricing changes, policy changes or discontinuation. An interruption caused by a third-party provider is not a breach of these terms, although we will make reasonable efforts to restore service.

• Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.
• You may delete your account at any time from the app or by emailing us.
• We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, fail to pay, or if we are required to do so by law. Where practical we will give you notice.
• We may discontinue the service as a whole with reasonable prior notice.
• On termination, your right to use the service ends and your data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that job listings, relevance scores or generated documents will be accurate, complete or suitable for your purpose.

We do not guarantee any job outcome. Using Seven Resume does not guarantee interviews, job offers, employment or any particular response from an employer.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost employment, reputational harm or data loss, arising from or related to your use of the service.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability for all claims is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or AUD $100. Where required, our liability may instead be limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.

We may update these terms as the service evolves or the law changes. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the revised terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service and delete your account.
